How to Get Started
These few simple, easy-to-follow steps will make working with us easy for you, will help you to understand our process and what to expect, and will help us to determine the most efficient and economical way to address your issues and concerns.
Step 1: Determine Your Concerns Before calling us, consider what it is you’d like to accomplish as a result of working with us. Is there a particular issue that you’re concerned with, like whether your 401k plan is appropriately allocated, or what the best strategy is for saving for your child’s college education? Or are you more interested in getting a handle on your entire financial situation? The more accurately you can describe the questions or concerns that you are most concerned with addressing, the better we can help you.
Step 2: Check Us Out Take a few moments to familiarize yourself with our website. Reading “Who We Are,” “Our Services,” and the “FAQs” section of the website will answer most of your questions about Landmark Financial, including: the benefits of our approach to financial planning, the services we offer, our qualifications, and an explanation of our fee structure.
Step 3: Call Us
Call us if you have any questions or once you are ready to schedule a no-cost, no-obligation Get Acquainted meeting. We schedule appointments Monday through Friday each week, during normal business hours, and accept evening appointments on Wednesdays. We can make exceptions if you are not available during normal business hours.Step 4: Gather Your Information
Gather together whatever records or personal financial documents that you'd like us to see during our meeting together. Print out the Initial Meeting Questionnaire (here
). You may also want to print out the Confidential Questionnaire (here
) at this time. These are generally the only forms required for our first meeting together, and should take no more than a few minutes for you to complete (please be sure to sign the cover page of the Confidential Questionnaire
Step 5: The Initial Meeting Show up for our meeting together. Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. If you cannot keep your scheduled appointment, we ask that you please give 24 hours notice so that we can offer appointments to others in a timely manner, as well. Bring the completed Initial Meeting Questionnaire and Confidential Questionnaire (if completed) with you, as well as any other records or information which you think may be helpful for our Get Acquainted meeting.
Step 6: Defining Your Project At our Get Acquainted meeting, we will discuss your questions and concerns, determine the scope of your project and mutually agree as to the terms of our planning or advisory relationship. This will in turn determine the cost of your project.
Step 7: Hiring Us We will give you an accurate estimate of the cost of your project at the conclusion of our meeting together. If we agree to work together, your costs will not exceed this estimate. Depending on the complexity of your project, we may require either a deposit or partial payment in advance. Please be advised that we will not begin work on any project without first receiving the deposit or partial payment.
